[ It isn't the first time Suletta has surprised her, but the it is the first time she's stood up for herself over something like this. Miorine had always assumed (and that was the problem between the two of them, they both loved to assume) being acknowledged by her in such a way didn't really matter to Suletta- at least not outside of being validated by someone who she thought was aspirational.
